About the Role

Our Client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join their team. In this role, you will work on galvanizing surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes, and meeting client

specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting, surface

preparation, and the application of protective coatings.

Key Responsibilities

? Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or blasting.

? Apply primer, paint, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

? Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards.

? Operate and maintain painting equipment safely and efficiently.

? Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes.

? Apply galvanizing treatments to protect surfaces from corrosion.

? Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

? Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role.

? Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, including galvanizing.

? Familiarity with various painting tools and equipment.

? Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.

? Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work.

? Physical stamina and ability to work in industrial settings.

? Knowledge of workplace safety and hazard management.

Preferred Qualifications

? Certification in industrial painting or related field.

? Experience with galvanizing processes and coatings.

? Familiarity with workplace safety regulations, including WHMIS.
