Job Title: SAP FI Functional Consultant (Testing Expert)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FI Functional Consultant with strong expertise in financial processes and hands-on experience in testing SAP FI configurations and solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and validation of SAP FI modules through comprehensive testing strategies, aligning them with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP FI Configuration and Support :

• Configure and implement SAP FI modules, including GL (General Ledger), AR (Accounts Receivable), AP (Accounts Payable), AA (Asset Accounting), and Banking.
• Support financial processes such as month-end and year-end closures, financial reporting, and reconciliation.

Testing Expertise :

• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and scripts for SAP FI modules, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing.
• Perform data validation and ensure consistency between financial records and system outputs.
• Identify, track, and resolve defects or discrepancies during the testing phase.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of SAP FI configurations.

Business Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement :

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into SAP FI solutions.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users to ensure proper adoption of the system.

Documentation and Reporting :

• Document functional specifications, test cases, and results for auditing and future reference.
• Provide regular progress reports to project teams and leadership on testing outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

• Liaise with other SAP modules (e.g., CO, MM, SD) to ensure smooth integration and testing across end-to-end processes.
• Work with development teams to address technical issues identified during testing.

Continuous Improvement :

• Propose enhancements to SAP FI processes and configurations based on test results and business feedback.
• Stay updated on SAP updates, best practices, and new functionalities.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP FI configuration and implementation.
• Proven expertise in testing methodologies and tools, including creating test cases, scenarios, and execution.
• Knowledge of SAP integration with other modules (CO, MM, SD).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and compliance standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or SAP Solution Manager.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Worksoft Certify, Selenium for SAP).
• SAP certifications in FI or S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
• Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and testing.
• Hands-on experience in agile environments with tools like Confluence.
