Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during the one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process.The Nurse (RN) position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a critical impact in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.The Detox Nurse’s Responsibilities Are:Records and reports all observed symptoms, reactions to treatments and changes in patients safety statusCollaborates with team in providing health information and maintains clients’ medical recordsResponds to patient care needs/issues and assists patients with activities of daily living, promoting a positive therapeutic environmentAssists with the admitting, discharge and transfer processParticipates in treatment team meetings & assists with development of care plansAdministers medications to patientsQualifications:Valid and current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered NurseCurrent certification in CPRExperience with addiction treatment services preferred, but not required.
