EHS Adminisitrative Coordinator
On-site: Long Beach, CA
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Safety Administrative Coordinator to assist our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. This role is vital to ensuring our compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements while promoting a safe workplace for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Safety Officers with record-keeping, documentation, and scheduling, including electronic records from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), environmental manifests, and permits.
- Support EHS Officers in conducting internal environmental and safety audits.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and corrective actions.
- Document the company’s safety procedures, accidents, and related events.
- File and maintain safety video requests and environmental regulatory documentation.
- Manage credentials for commercial license holders.
- Coordinate projects such as Safety Blitzes, Emergency Response Team activities, and regulatory training.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Strong administrative background with proven experience in record-keeping and documentation.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
