Job Title: Maintenance Technician/Electrician ($30-35/hr)

Location: Mt. Clemens, MI

Shift: Afternoons (Monday - Thursday) (1 PM - 11:30 PM)

Position Summary:

Under minimal supervision, the Maintenance Technician performs a variety of highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain factory machines plus perform electrical wiring.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation and maintenance on Rando machines.

Conduct emergency repairs during production hours and provide off-hour support as needed.

Execute and maintain a monthly preventative maintenance schedule.

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for service requirements.

Detect and report faulty operations, defective materials, and unusual situations to the Supervisor.

Inspect products to verify they meet production specifications.

Maintain required quality and production standards.

Assist with production and maintenance tasks on machines.

Understand the roles and duties of each job on the crew and perform them with minimal supervision.

Gain full knowledge of the fiber blending and rewinder processes.

Collect and record data accurately in logbooks.

Lift and carry materials weighing 30-50 pounds.

Perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a factory and maintenance role.

At least 2 years of experience working on Rando or similar machinery.

Preferred experience with low-voltage electrical systems.

Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and work in various physical conditions, including standing and kneeling for extended periods.

Work Environment:

Exposure to dust, fumes, and toxic chemicals.

Work in both cold and hot outdoor temperatures.

Occasional work in confined spaces.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.

Must be comfortable standing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
