Job Description

THE ROLE

This Payroll and HR Coordinator will provide support for our U.S. employees and will be responsible for semi-monthly and monthly payroll processing. This role will additionally provide a wide range of HR administrative assistance and support with a high degree of confidentiality.


RESPONSIBILITIES

•Process multi-state, multi-company payroll for 150+ employees on a monthly & semi-monthly basis

•Responsible for all employee and payroll changes in Successfactors and ADP, including benefit deductions, new hires, terminations, address changes, etc.

•Maintain garnishment, lien, and court order records in employee files and ADP WFN.

•Work with accounting to reconcile payroll to general ledger.

•Responsible for ADP Time and Attendance system including profiles, accruals, and reporting.

•Train all new hires on ADP Time and Attendance for time off reporting.

•Oversee all payroll tax filings including federal and state tax.

•Work with Tax department for registering UI tax in new states or new company registration.

•Responsible for all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting including required government wage reporting.

•Responsible for accurate and timely recordkeeping of employee files.

•Responsible for Verification of Employment and mortgage inquires.

•Maintain legal and regulatory knowledge to ensure compliance as related to HR policies and processes.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The role will require someone knowledgeable in all aspects of Payroll. You will need the ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines for multiple projects. You will be a collaborative team member, effective communicator, and have the ability to work with highly confidential information.


•3+ years experience in Payroll, ADP WFN preferred

•Detail-oriented, high level of accuracy, and follow through required.

•Strong understanding of multi-state payroll tax regulations.

•Passion for working with people

•Strong customer service skills

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Excellent interpersonal skills

•Proficient in Excel
