Job Description/Environment:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our client’s team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by addressing inquiries related to product availability, pricing, freight rates, delivery dates, and order status. The Customer Service Representative will manage projects and accounts, resolve billing adjustments, and serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, process, and track customer orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure orders are complete and invoiced correctly.
- Provide updates to Sales Representatives regarding customer account activities.
- Coordinate product specifications, availability, shipping, quotations, and estimates with customers.
- Act as the communication link between customers, the design team, sales team, and production to fulfill customer requirements.
- Maintain organized and accurate customer files.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints, including billing issues, and escalate when necessary.
- Manage inventory levels and reconcile customer orders, forecasts, and schedules, including conducting physical inventory at month-end.
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in the Corrugated Packaging Industry required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience, including handling customer orders in an order entry system.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems and order management software.
