Looking for an experienced General Manager to join our crew. You must be motivated, likeable, flexible, personable, organized, passionate, reliable, honest, and an all-around all-star.


The Restaurant General Manager will lead all operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and optimal profitability. This role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire a team, maintain high service standards, and drive revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless and efficient service. 

Recruit, train, and develop staff to uphold excellence in hospitality. 

Manage budgets, P&L, and cost control to maximize profitability. 

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations. 

Maintain strong vendor relationships and oversee inventory control.


Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a General Manager in an upscale casual or fine-dining restaurant. 

Strong leadership and team-building skills. 

Exceptional knowledge of food, wine, and service standards. 

Solid financial management experience, including budgeting and cost control. 

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Duties

Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.

Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.

Implement and maintain high standards of food handling and safety practices.

Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Handle cash management processes, including daily reconciliations and reporting.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure menu quality and presentation meet fine dining standards.

Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize resources.

Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to maintain a high level of service.

Coordinate catering services for events as needed, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.

Qualifications


Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices.

Experience in cash handling procedures and financial reporting.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively.

Background in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings is preferred.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on interpersonal relations.
