Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Domain Architect to join our innovative team in Plano, TX. As a key technical leader, you will define and implement technology strategies and architecture within your assigned domain. You will collaborate closely with domain leadership, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure that technical solutions align with both immediate functional requirements and long-term organizational goals.

This role requires hands-on involvement in system design and architecture, as well as strategic oversight to shape the future of technology within the domain. It’s an exciting opportunity to influence innovation at scale.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead domain technology strategy and architecture as a key member of the Domain Leadership Team.
• Develop and maintain business capability maps in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Drive system design discussions and support the creation of high-level and low-level solution architectures.
• Establish and maintain technology strategies, target state architectures, and domain roadmaps.
• Participate in architecture governance and cross-domain architecture initiatives.
• Validate technology feasibility for business cases and concept proposals.
• Provide architectural oversight and approval for designs meeting gating criteria.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other domain architects to build design consensus.
• Document key architectural decisions, risks, and artifacts.

Required Experience/Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in enterprise architecture and system design.
• Expertise in distributed applications, real-time streaming architectures, and microservices.
• Deep knowledge of cloud technologies with experience in major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong background in software development, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and DevOps.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proven ability to deliver scalable, secure cloud-native solutions.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
