We’re looking for a Bid Coordinator to manage the bidding process, ensuring compliance with client requirements and coordinating closely with our estimating team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the estimating team to facilitate the entire bid process, including preparation of required documentation and monitoring timelines.
- Manage multiple bids and opportunities per month while researching new proposal opportunities.
- Assemble comprehensive bid packages, ensuring compliance with client requirements and government programs.
- Track and distribute bid documents such as plans, specifications, and addenda.
- Issue requests for bid to subcontractors and recruit new vendors to participate in projects.
- Review and verify bids for appropriate licensing and adherence to requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients through effective communication.
- Coordinate job walks and ensure timely distribution of bid results.
- Produce well-organized and comprehensive final bid files for presentation to clients and project teams.
- Assist with the preparation of Statements of Qualifications, gathering input from various sources.
- Implement document control processes and ensure seamless communication across the bid team.
- Support other company needs as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; advanced coursework or certifications are a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Spanish.
- Skills: Strong work ethics; great communication skills; collaborative; analytical; goal-oriented; and, methodical.
