Job Purpose
The Head of Membership is responsible for overseeing the development, acquisition, and retention of Harbour Club members. This role drives membership growth, ensures a high standard of member experience, and significantly contributes to the overall success of the club. The Head of Membership will work closely with the team to meet quarterly membership targets, build and nurture a vibrant member community, and ensure the membership experience reflects all that Harbour Club strives to be.
Main Responsibilities
- Grow membership in-line with quarterly goals
- Make strategic decisions and adjustments throughout the year to help achieve the overall membership budget
- Drive membership growth by leveraging extensive personal networks within the Miami market
- Partner with the team to ensure engaging member programming
- Ensure all administrative processes for membership applications and renewals are handled efficiently and accurately
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless member journey from application to onboarding
- Actively engage in networking and outreach to build relationships with influential local figures, tastemakers, and thought leaders
- Enhance brand awareness through strategic local partnerships and community engagement
- Be present within the club to give tours, engage with members and keep the team informed on all things related to membership
- Work with the sales and marketing team to drive partnerships and programming
Experience Required
- Extensive Miami network
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience
- Demonstrated expertise in driving and retaining membership and/or sales into a similar business
- Data-driven approach to membership management, with the ability to interpret and act on key metrics
- Passion for creativity, community building, and hospitality
