SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation:
- Produce high-quality, informative, and engaging content across various formats (blog posts, articles, website copy, podcasts, social media updates, email newsletters, etc.)
- Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with vendors, advisors, and teammates to develop diverse and impactful content.
Content Distribution:
- Manage the distribution of content across multiple channels (website, blog, social media platforms, Hubspot email marketing) to maximize reach and visibility.
- Implement content calendars to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content.
Content Optimization:
- Optimize all content for search engines (SEO) by incorporating relevant keywords, meta descriptions, and other SEO best practices.
- Ensure content is aligned with lead generation goals by including compelling calls-to-action (CTAs) and lead capture forms.
Content Performance Analysis:
- Generate reports on content effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven adjustments to content strategy.
Lead Generation Support:
- Assist in creation of content that attracts and engages potential clients, capturing their interest and establishing the brand as a thought leader.
- Develop informative content that educates and nurtures leads, guiding them through the client’s journey.
- Support live events by creating promotional materials, generating pre-event excitement, and providing post-event follow-up resources.
- Collaborate with the Sales Development Representative (SDR) to provide valuable content resources for lead nurturing and follow-up communication.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in content creation and marketing, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms. WordPress and HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with content performance tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with graphic design and video editing tools.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms.
- Knowledge of lead generation and sales funnel management.
