Job Description

Our client, an independent wealth management firm, is looking to add to their team, an Investment Operations Associate. This role is in office. Our client, specialize in working with ultra-high net worth families, as well as family offices and institutions with investment assets. Their goal is to assist families in managing their wealth and preparing future generations for the responsibilities and opportunities it brings.


Job Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Administer day-to-day activities of client accounts in support of Client Service Managers’ activities.
  • Work with clients to answer questions or solve issues about their brokerage accounts.
  • Complete documents to set up new accounts, transfer accounts and reviewing and completing partnership agreements.
  • Assist in Monthly/Quarterly Reporting Activities to support Client Service Managers’ report preparation.


Job Objectives include but are not limited to:

  • Working with in-house portfolio accounting system to set up accounts.
  • Pro-actively support the Client Service Managers to allow them to provide accurate and timely reports, information and excellent customer service.
  • Pro-actively anticipate the workflow of projects, information and data for client presentations initiated by Client Service Managers.
  • Providing a command of skills necessary for the firm to deliver exceptional service to its clientele.
  • Assisting with day-to-day client administration.


Qualifications:

  • College degree with a minimum of 2-3 years in a financial services industry (i.e. Brokerage, Advisory Firm, Banking).
  • Experience with various types of accounts, such as trusts, partnerships, IRAs. Ability to work with various brokerage firms/banks operations departments.
  • Current Series 65 (Series 66 or 7) a plus
  • Operations knowledge, a plus
  • MBA, a plus
  • Advanced computer skills in MS office suites with the ability to use other software programs necessary for job functions.
  • Team player with demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
