Job Description

Must-Haves:

  • 2+ years of experience in analytics (business analyst/data analyst)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency with data visualization and statistical analysis tools (preferably Power BI, Qlik Products, Tableau, Minitab, R, Stata, or SAS)
  • Familiarity with data management tools and techniques (preferably MS Access and SQL)
  • Experience with data mining/extraction tools
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Healthcare experience


Day-to-Day Responsibilities: The Business Analyst will act as a liaison between clinical and operational service lines, supporting various quality and performance measurement initiatives throughout the organization. This includes developing and maintaining reports, scorecards, and dashboard tools, tracking clinical quality outcomes, monitoring and improving patient safety efforts, and benchmarking internal performance against external peers. The role involves analyzing qualitative and quantitative clinical, financial, and administrative data from multiple sources and synthesizing results into meaningful reports and presentations on a regular basis. this resource will maintain a robust, working knowledge of the business area they support, serving as the subject matter expert on key drivers and measures of success. They will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the short-term and long-term direction of the service line, actively demonstrate outstanding customer service, and maintain respectful relationships with all stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes setting up and maintaining dashboards in Tableau and Power BI, expanding existing Power BI dashboards, creating new data requests, and balancing business work maintenance with new initiatives. This resource will collaborate with the Executive team and Quality Improvement team for the East Florida division, which includes 7 hospitals (Dayland, Daytona, NSB, etc.) and work with a team of 4 other individuals.
