REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Salary range: $160K - $200K DOE
Bonus: 15-25% of first years' salary
Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days from home.
Location of job: Atlanta, GA
Hours: M-Fri 8:00 - 4:30
A Regional Director responsible for leading a regional engineering team in the execution of projects and programs for clients. Position is responsible for the financial results of the office as well as managing all office personnel to ensure client expectations are met.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required. Similar technical fields to be considered.
- Minimum 8 years' experience, with over 4+ years of utility related experience
- Knowledge of Energy Markets and Clients in respected region.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer and PMP preferred.
- Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a regional team in the execution of projects and programs for local clients. Team could consist of Engineering (Integrity, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Process), Design/Drafting, Project Management.
- Report on Office/Group performance to Regional Director. Prepare and disseminate periodic reports regarding the office activity and progress against stated goals. Address deviations from projections in a pro-active manner.
- Direct local safety and quality programs. Ensure work product compliance with all government regulations and company policies regarding these programs.
- Work with the Regional Director to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained. Participate in weekly staffing resource allocation meetings.
- Manage existing client relations, including contracts, projects, and opportunities.
- Frequent and consistent networking and business development with existing clients to maintain and identify new business opportunities.
- Foster relationships with new regional clients and develop a Regional Strategy Plan / Business Development
- Responsible for work in the region using local resources and utilizing other company offices/resources
- Work closely with the other Regional Leads, Directors, Vice Presidents and Principals to leverage relationships and expertise
- Develop a training plan for employees in the region.
- Maintain a work environment where employees can efficiently utilize their skills and knowledge, fulfill their responsibilities, and maximize their potential.
- Host periodic office wide updates to ensure team alignment.
- Lead local management team
- Review and sign region purchase orders
- Manage seconded personnel contracts, budgets, accruals and invoicing
