Job Title: Electrical Designer-AutoCAD Electrical

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in electrical design and a passion for creating efficient and innovative solutions. The top priority for this role is for someone with experience using AutoCAD Electrical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine electrical control designs to meet project specifications.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations, particularly the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Utilize AutoCAD Electrical software to produce detailed schematics and layouts.
• Collaborate with team members to design motor control systems, with experience in variable frequency drives (VFDs) being a significant advantage.
• Support the design and development of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and associated systems.
• Contribute to the conceptualization and implementation of electrical equipment designs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in controls design and electrical schematics.
• Strong familiarity with NEC requirements and guidelines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical software.
• Bonus: Knowledge or experience with motor control systems, especially VFDs.
• A background in designing PLCs and electrical equipment.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
