Reports to Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

• Responsible for the effective production of all stone products. Oversee material movement & storage, fabrication, staging/loading, equipment maintenance and quality assurance.

Role - Activities

Percent Time 50%| Production

• Assess the daily schedule and plan / delegate the work.
• Deploy labor, re-directing as needed.
• Allocate equipment and resources as needed. Maximize throughput by supporting the weak link.
• Achieve daily $T target(s).
• Ensure Manufacturing team achieves daily operating metrics.
• Assure that quality standards are met.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills / root cause analysis.
• Promote effective/efficiency use of CNC tooling.
• Work with Maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is cared for.
• Coach/Mentor Manufacturing Leads for future growth.

Percent Time 40%|Execution

• Lead & Develop the team for upward mobility.
• Hire, on-board, train, and hold to account.
• Promote continuous training, cross-training.
• Ensure manufacturing objectives are achieved while minimizing overtime, idle time.
• Promote safe work practices and compliance.

Percent Time 10%| Innovation

• Work with appropriate departments to improved shop floor activities.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• College degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience utilizing CNC routing software.
• Working experience with production processes of stone products.
• Experience analyzing production processes, methods, technology to improve operational efficiency.

Salary range : From $75k-85k. |Commensurate with experience|
