Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience that is passionate about their work and eager to grow in a supportive and dynamic environment. In this role, you will design electrical systems for clients, which will include power, lighting, and load calculations. You may also plan, oversee, and schedule various phases of projects, and guide the work of other professionals assisting with specific tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop complete construction documents, including drawings, power system studies, and specifications
  • Lead lighting design for both interior and exterior, and perform foot-candle calculations to ensure lighting design meets IESNA standards
  • Design and oversee of medium and low voltage AC, DC, single line diagrams, electrical plans, and equipment layout
  • Provide engineering support throughout design and construction phases, including reviewing and approving shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and addressing AHJ comments
  • Oversee QA/QC processes for deliverables throughout design and construction phases
  • Lead internal and external meetings, collaborating across teams and clients


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 7+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering
  • EIT preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, Revit, & Bluebeam
  • Experience with higher education, commercial, and institutional
  • Low-voltage, AV, and security experience
