Position Title:

Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist

Position Summary:

Function of the Group:

• Mitigating risks associating with software developments and deployments

Initiatives/Projects:

• Supports custom applications (Angular front end, .Net back end) which handling document imaging and records management for retail lending line of business

Industry background: Financial background is a plus but open to all backgrounds

Team Dynamic:

• This team is an agile development team, consists of scrum master, business analysts, developers, and

automation test engineers

• Work closely together to drive development work through agile sprints

• Closely aligned with line of business

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Daily stand up meeting

• Weekly planning sessions

• Working closely with the development team, that consists of scrum masters, business analysts, developers, automation test engineers, and business stakeholders

• Expected to have input into user stories

• Helping to develop testing criteria

• Build new test automation capabilities to drive automation testing

• Enhance automation testing scripts that are already in place

Must Have Technical Skills: Level 3: 4-6 years

• Experience mentoring junior testers and driving test direction

• Hands on experience with test automation and execution

• DevOps (containers, CI/CD pipelines)

• Strong experience in automation user interface testing

• API testing

• Selenium

• Cucumber

• QFaaS

• Karate

• Highly skilled in development using Java and JavaScript
