About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Civil Engineer to join our growing Transportation and Infrastructure Team . In this role, you will provide technical leadership and project management for the design, improvement, and construction of roadway and highway transportation infrastructure projects , including new roadway designs, intersection improvements, toll lanes, and rehabilitations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and construction of transportation infrastructure, including roadways, highways, roundabouts, and intersections .
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Plan, organize, and supervise engineering activities on transportation-related projects.
• Develop innovative design solutions for roadways and transit structures , addressing client and project needs.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, conferences, and technical presentations .
• Oversee project management tasks, including tracking budgets, schedules, and quality assurance.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with civil construction laws, codes, and regulations .
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Utilize software tools such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, and InRoads for detailed designs and analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) License (Ohio required, multi-state a plus).
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in roadway/highway design and construction.
• Proficiency in civil design software, including MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and InRoads .
• Expertise in roadway design elements , such as alignments, grading, and cross-sections.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
