About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Structural Engineer to join our growing Transportation and Infrastructure Team . This role involves leading the design, rehabilitation, and construction of bridges, retaining walls, and other critical load-bearing structures . You will provide technical expertise, project oversight, and mentorship to junior engineers while collaborating with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the design, rehabilitation, and construction of structural systems, including bridges, retaining walls, and transit structures .
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers to ensure quality and adherence to industry standards.
• Manage and oversee structural design projects , including planning, organizing, and supervising engineering activities.
• Assist in the growth and development of the bridge and inspection team , contributing to the company’s overall success.
• Conduct detailed structural analyses and develop innovative solutions to meet client and project requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, industry conferences, and technical presentations .
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations , including AASHTO standards.
• Contribute to proposal development and preliminary design phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) License (Ohio required, multi-state a plus).
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on bridges and related structures.
• Expertise in structural engineering principles , design processes, and construction management.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools .
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
