Position Overview

The General Superintendent will oversee all field operations on construction projects, ensuring that work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multiple aspects of project management, including safety, scheduling, and project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and manage construction activities across various sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain safe work environments by implementing OSHA 30 standards.
• Maintain awareness over project schedules, etc. to keep projects on track.
• In tandem with the Superintendent and PM, conduct regular OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings to ensure clear communication among all stakeholders.
• Provide oversight and mentorship to superintendents and field staff, fostering team development.
• Manage project budgets and finances, ensuring all deliverables are met within financial constraints.
• Utilize Procore, P6, and Bluebeam for project management and documentation.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
• Proven experience in a superintendent role on commercial construction projects with proven leadership experience
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Proficient in project management software including Procore, P6, and Bluebeam.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to develop and manage project schedules and budgets effectively.
