$40-$50K Salary + Commission (estimated $80-$90K in first year, 6-figures in your second year)
Job Summary
Our client is an insurance wholesale agency seeking a motivated Commercial Insurance Sales Representative with a focus on Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance sales to join their growing team. This role involves heavy cold calling, door knocking, and prospecting to develop relationships with healthcare industry clients. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in insurance
Job Responsibilities: Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, door-to-door sales, networking, and outreach initiatives . Develop a strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance products , with a focus on policies tailored to the healthcare sector (e.g., medical offices, clinics, hospitals). Build and maintain relationships with healthcare industry clients, identifying their specific insurance needs. Collaborate with underwriters and internal teams to customize solutions and provide tailored insurance policies to meet clients' unique needs. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through consistent outreach efforts and pipeline management. Educate clients on risk management strategies and policy options to protect their businesses. Attend industry events, trade shows, and healthcare-related networking events to generate leads. Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM software. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and competitive market insights to provide consultative advice to clients.
Qualifications: 2+ years of sales experience ; experience in insurance sales preferred but open to candidates with backgrounds in healthcare sales or other relevant industries. Proven success in cold calling, door knocking, and business development activities. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a focus on client service . Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with insurance products (specifically Property & Casualty) is a plus, but not required. Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
