Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team in Fremont, California. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, at least two years of experience—preferably in human resources—and a passion for supporting a growing organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining accurate employee records and documentation.
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience.
- Support employee relations efforts by addressing basic inquiries and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Plan and coordinate team activities, outings, and events to promote employee engagement and a positive work environment.
- Assist in organizing and implementing employee engagement activities and programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Collaborate with managers and employees to ensure effective communication and understanding of HR policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ideally, a minimum of two years of professional experience in a human resources role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
