Job Description

Our crypto financial technology firm seeks an experienced and motivated Lead Physical Security Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will specialize in installing, configuring, and maintaining advanced physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor management, and low-voltage management. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient operation of security systems, troubleshooting issues, and managing security projects across various client sites.

This position requires expertise with industry-leading systems such as Genetec , Brivo , and Eagle Eye , along with the flexibility to travel to client locations up to 50% of the time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, administer and maintain access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and visitor management systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair security system malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Install and manage low-voltage wiring, adhering to electrical safety standards.
  • Oversee project management tasks, including planning and executing system installations and upgrades.
  • Perform routine system inspections, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide technical support and training on security platforms like Genetec, Brivo, and Eagle Eye.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the physical security industry.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
  • Hands-on expertise with Genetec, Brivo, Axis, HID, and Eagle Eye systems.
  • Strong knowledge of low-voltage wiring and management.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications (e.g., Genetec Certified, Brivo Certified, Eagle Eye Certification).
  • Experience with IT networking and system integration.
