Position Summary
The geotechnical Engineer I is responsible for delivering high-quality engineering and design documents that meet project success criteria. Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Valid driver's License
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Preferred: Registration as Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and financial functions.
- Basic level of computer-aided design using AutoCAD, Civil3D preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting 25 lbs. or more.
- Willingness to work extended hours and travel overnight occasionally.
- Work Environment:
- Office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Occasional fieldwork in varying weather conditions and noisy construction sites.
