JOB SUMMARY :
The Talent Acquisition Specialist, under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods. The Talent Acquisition Specialist also provides guidance and training to hiring managers, mentors junior recruiters, and assists with special projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Partner with the hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
- Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure the achievement of staffing goals.
- Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
- Communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, relocation, non-complete agreements).
- Mentor Recruiters and entry-level team members.
- Serve as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory.
- Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
- Assist with managing the applicant tracking system (ATS), provide support and training to supervisors and managers when necessary, and manage the flow of candidates.
- Assist with ensuring assigned personnel action forms (PAFs) and staff requisition paperwork are completed and processed.
- Respond to employee and outside inquiries regarding pre-screening processes, employee onboarding, transfers, job ads, and credential verifications.
- Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting processes.
- Provide suggestions and feedback on HR processes for improved efficiency.
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, standards, or regulations.
- Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry’s best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
- Become be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with other departments within PathGroup and subsidiaries.

EDUCATION & LICENSURE :
- High School Diploma is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Two to three years of prior job-related experience required.
- Full cycle Recruiting experience required.
- Knowledge of ADP Recruiting Management is preferred.
- Knowledge of State and Federal employment law/regulations and general principles and practices of human resources required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Must be able to accommodate hybrid work schedule.
