The Mullings Group Search Canada is engaged with Capital I Industries Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-quality motor grader attachments, and seeking an experienced and visionary President to drive the next phase of our growth and innovation. As President, you will take the helm of a dynamic, performance-driven organization, guiding our strategic direction and operational performance. You will work closely with senior leadership to lead market expansion, foster continuous improvement, and ensure sustainable business growth.
This role requires a proven leader with strong business acumen, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the manufacturing and industrial machinery sectors. You will be responsible for setting and executing business strategies, developing high-performing teams, and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders. As an integral part of the leadership team, you will champion innovation, operational excellence, and a culture of continuous improvement to strengthen Capital I’s position as an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Business Planning : Develop and execute business and operational plans aligned with the company’s overall strategy, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and organic expansion in new markets and product lines.
- Performance-Driven Leadership : Lead the organization with a performance-driven operating philosophy, ensuring key strategic initiatives and best practices are implemented to drive operational efficiency and business growth.
- Growth & Market Expansion : Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, including new markets, geographic expansion, and new business lines, while developing actionable plans for market penetration and winning profitable business.

- Continuous Improvement : Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring optimal productivity, cost-effectiveness, and performance across all teams and operations.

- Stakeholder Engagement : Forge strong, long-term relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers to ensure operational success and business sustainability.
- Market Trends & Innovation : Maintain a deep understanding of market and industry trends, integrating technological innovations.
- Communication : Regularly communicate with senior management and the Board of Directors on key issues, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role in industrial machining or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of driving growth, improving operational efficiency, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies are highly preferred.
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience with fostering a safety-first mindset.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and drive profitability.
- Familiarity with cost control, pricing strategies, and financial forecasting.
- A competitive compensation package will be provided, including an attractive base salary of $225,000, plus STIP, LTIP, ESPP program, and excellent benefits. Relocation assistance will also be provided.
