Role Responsibilities
As an Athlete Travel National Account Manager , you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, playing a pivotal role in creating an excellent first impression. Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting discovery and “welcome” calls to qualify leads.
• Providing product demonstrations and guiding prospects through our sales process.
• Managing a pipeline of prospects and ensuring timely follow-up to nurture long-term relationships.
• Scheduling appointments and closing new business through consultative selling.
• Leveraging outbound prospecting via phone, email, social media (LinkedIn), and attending live events.
• Utilizing our CRM system, Pipedrive, to track leads and maintain accurate records.
This is a consultative sales role, meaning you will focus on matching our services to customer needs rather than hard selling. Extensive training and resources will be provided to ensure your success.
Daily Tasks
• Proactively uncover new opportunities through outbound efforts.
• Conduct demonstrations and sales calls, qualifying prospects and managing follow-up.
• Maintain active engagement with your prospect pipeline, ensuring timely communication.
• Leverage CRM tools and follow-up strategies to close sales and foster long-term relationships.
Required Skills and Experience
• Proven track record in sales with a focus on relationship-building and consultative selling.
• Experience with CRM systems. (Pipedrive experience is a plus)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a pleasant speaking voice and professional demeanor.
• Tech-savvy, quick to learn new software and tools.
• Experience in sports-related sales, especially in youth sports (soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, is a bonus).
• Enthusiastic, organized, and reliable with a passion for driving results.
Technology Requirements
• A high-quality phone (landline, cell, or VoIP) and fast, modern computer. (Laptop provided)
• Reliable high-speed internet capable of supporting clear web conferencing.
Position Details
• Full-time (40 hours per week), with a flexible work environment.
• Location: San Diego, CA office or remote.
• Compensation: Competitive base salary with a performance-based commission structure, aligned with experience and qualifications.
