Commercial Insurance Department Manager
Overview
An established agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join their team as a Commercial Insurance Department Manager. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and direction to the commercial insurance department, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the commercial insurance department
  • Manage and develop a team of commercial lines professionals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive departmental growth and profitability
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and proactive adaptation
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in commercial insurance and risk management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and industry standards
  • Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Active P&C insurance license
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CIC, CRM, CPCU) are a plus
Compensation Package
  • Compensation: Between $85k-$130k (based on experience).
