Job Description DescriptionWe are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Swanton, VT. This role is centered around maintaining financial records, conducting account analysis, and supporting various accounting functions within our team.Salary range - 85K + depending on experienceKey ResponsibilitiesOversee full cycle accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial statementsManage fixed assets and perform regular reconciliationsCoordinate month end and year-end closing activities Oversee project costing activities, ensuring accurate allocation of costsPerform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processingManage payroll functions, ensure accurate and timely payment to employees, payroll implementationHuman Resources and social functionsImplement and maintain internal controls for accounting processesLiaise with external auditors and manage audit processesPerforming annual physical inventory reconciliation and reportingCoordinate cash flow forecastingPerform annual budget with multiple departmentsAssist the plant / manufacturing manager in all administrative dutiesExperiencesMust have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar roleExperience in handling (AP) and (AR)Must have a comprehensive understanding and experience in Full Cycle AccountingExperience in performing Account Reconciliation Must have experience in managing Fixed AssetsMust have experience in Month End & Year End ClosingsExperience in the Textile Industry is a plusPayroll & Human Resource ExperienceExperience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Excel & Word skills is vital.
