JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knives handling skills
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- Previous prep or line cook experience
- Professional communications skills are required
- Ability to take directions and work in a team environment
- Commitment to quality service, must have problem solving abilities
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays
- Must be self-motivated and organized
GENERAL RESPONSABILITIES
- Set up station according to restaurant guidelines
- Prepares all the food as directed in a sanitary and timely manners
- Follow recipes, presentations, portion control specifications as set by the restaurant
- Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in and storage areas
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen manager at any time
