Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Charlotte, NC
Position Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM
Overview: Join a dynamic healthcare team as a CT Technologist where you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will operate CT scanners, manage patient transport and monitoring, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT procedures in alignment with departmental protocols and patient needs.
- Operate CT scanners, IV contrast injectors, and related equipment with proficiency.
- Verify patient orders, ensure correct identification, and explain procedures to patients.
- Administer IV contrast and monitor patient condition throughout the procedure.
- Evaluate and process CT images, consulting with Radiologists as needed.
- Ensure proper use of radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self.
- Assist during invasive procedures and “code blue” medical emergencies as needed.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control policies.
- Keep patient records and document contrast administration accurately.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiology (required).
- ARRT advanced registry in CT scanning (to be obtained within one year of hire).
- CPR certification (required).
- 1-2 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, including CT scanning.
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners preferred; Philips iSite PACS experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
