Job Title : Surgical Oncology Manager

Location : Austin, TX

Salary : Up to $130K (based on experience)


About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Oncology Manager to join our team in Austin, TX. You will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while managing the overall function of the unit and fostering a collaborative environment.

As the Surgical Oncology Manager, you will be responsible for implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety, improving clinical outcomes, and achieving internal/external benchmarks and accreditations. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain the highest level of patient satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and staffing for both the outpatient clinics.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the provision of care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical standards and foster accountability among staff members.
  • Manage staff scheduling to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
  • Lead efforts to improve patient satisfaction through consistent, positive interactions.
  • Maintain efficient throughput with respect to admissions and discharges.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care coordination.
  • Manage operating expenses, including supplies and equipment, identifying cost-reduction opportunities.


Qualifications

  • Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Required : Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Required : Oncology Chemotherapy Certification
  • Required : Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
  • Required : 1+ year of healthcare leadership experience
