The Construction Estimator is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving the preconstruction and operational phases of construction projects. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are properly scoped, estimated, and scheduled.

Preconstruction Responsibilities:

• Lead the preconstruction team in the development of project plans, including scope, cost estimates, scheduling, and design coordination, ensuring alignment with project objectives

• Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates, manage project budgets, and collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure cost-effective solutions. Utilize value engineering techniques to ensure budget compliance without compromising project quality.

• Identify potential risks at the outset of each project, assess their impact, and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring a seamless transition from design to construction.

• Work closely with the design team to ensure that the project is designed within the established budget and timeline. Manage the procurement of materials and services necessary for project execution.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders during the preconstruction phase, ensuring that expectations are clearly communicated and managed.

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive bids

Work Environment:

• This position will require a combination of office-based tasks and on-site visits to project locations, ensuring the project is aligned with standards and client expectations.

• Flexibility in hours may be required to accommodate project schedules, client meetings, or fieldwork demands.
