Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our finance team and play a critical role in supporting our continued growth. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will lead the financial close process and ensure compliance with accounting standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the financial strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SAP, currency exchange, high-volume money transfers, and a background in fintech or similar high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and high-volume wire transfers.
• Lead the financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Manage international currency exchange transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and minimizing foreign exchange risk.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and safeguard assets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive financial strategy and support business objectives.
• Manage and optimize SAP financial modules for efficient processes and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 3 years in a controller capacity.
• Strong knowledge of SAP financial systems and modules.
• Experience with high-volume wire transfers and money movement, including multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange management.
• Expertise in GAAP/IFRS and financial statement preparation.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fintech or fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
