About the Role:

Join a prestigious logistics company in Houston, TX, as a Project Logistics Specialist specializing in OOG (Out-of-Gauge) cargo for both air and ocean freight. You will be responsible for managing complex, large-scale shipments requiring specialized handling and tailored logistics solutions. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing the transportation of oversized and heavy cargo, ensuring compliance, safety, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Cargo Management: Handle complex project shipments, including OOG cargo, by air and ocean, ensuring seamless coordination and safe transport.
• Vendor & Carrier Coordination: Collaborate with specialized carriers and logistics providers to secure the necessary resources for OOG transportation.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and manage shipping documents, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations for oversized cargo.
• Tailored Logistics Solutions: Design customized shipping strategies for OOG cargo, optimizing cost and time while ensuring safety and compliance.
• CargoWise Expertise: Utilize CargoWise to track, manage, and optimize all project cargo movements, maintaining real-time visibility and efficient workflows.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve any issues that may arise during transport, from regulatory compliance to logistical challenges, ensuring smooth execution.
