Position Overview: The IT Manager will oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, manage support tickets, and ensure the security and efficiency of our network systems. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong technical background, capable of both managing a team and directly handling complex IT issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Operations Management:
- Lead the IT department in developing and implementing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to optimize value and ROI.
- Establish IT governance frameworks to ensure initiatives meet business goals.
- Technical Support:
- Actively participate in resolving IT support requests from employees, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Provide hands-on support for hardware and software issues, including PCs, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
- Oversee the IT helpdesk, ensuring high-quality service delivery and user satisfaction.
- Network Engineering and Security:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other protective measures.
- Monitor network performance and security, addressing vulnerabilities and optimizing system performance.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor IT staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Coordinate with other departments to understand IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain system integrity and security.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on network engineering and security.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in network infrastructure design and management, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
- Experience with enterprise-level IT support and helpdesk management.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent are preferred.
