Position Overview
The Mechanical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing mechanical systems, including MEP, HVAC, piping, and plumbing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of mechanical projects
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations
- Utilize Trimble software for project management and design
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure project alignment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- PMP certification preferred
- Proven experience in managing mechanical projects
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, piping, and plumbing
- Experience with construction management
- Familiarity with Trimble or similar project management software
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
