We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team and play a vital role in equipment management, diagnostics, and client collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Management : Oversee incoming medical equipment, ensuring proper handling, storage, and preparation for resale.
- Diagnostics and Repair : Evaluate the performance of medical devices, conduct functional testing, and coordinate necessary repairs to restore functionality and aesthetics.
- Process Optimization : Continuously improve workflows and operational efficiency in equipment preparation and resale activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Technical Expertise : Proven experience in medical equipment diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, with familiarity in calibrating and testing equipment.
- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification is highly preferred.
- Educational Background : An associate degree or technical diploma in Biomedical Technology, Electronics, or a related field is required.
- Regulatory Knowledge : Solid understanding of OSHA standards and other medical equipment regulations (e.g., FDA, HIPAA).
- IT Networking Skills : Familiarity with medical device networking protocols, such as DICOM and HL7, is a plus.
- Client-Focused Mindset : Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with hospital clients and provide strategic guidance.
- Attention to Detail : Commitment to compliance, regulatory standards, and meticulous record-keeping.
- Problem-Solving Skills : Proactive approach to optimizing processes and resolving challenges.
