Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor oversees the safe, efficient production of high-quality products while meeting customer specifications and delivery commitments. This role emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coaching employees, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce all safety and quality protocols to maintain a safe, compliant workplace.
• Plan and manage production schedules to meet delivery, quality, and cost goals.
• Monitor key metrics like Total Operating Cost (TOC) and labor utilization (LU).
• Supervise, train, and evaluate employees to ensure performance standards are met.
• Implement 6S principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to optimize efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related engineering field (MS/MBA preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in manufacturing supervision or leadership.
• Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities; familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma preferred.
