Job description:
The Network Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support for an organization's computer networks. This role involves monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with the installation and configuration of network hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Network Performance: Utilize monitoring tools to track network performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve issues proactively.
- Troubleshoot Networking Issues: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
- Network Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, including software updates, hardware upgrades, and network security audits.
- Configuration Management: Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users and other IT staff for network-related issues.
