Role: Telecom Test Engineer

Job Description

Conduct field and lab testing for RF, Data, and Software in 5G, LTE, WCDMA, UMTS, GSM, and related network services. Flexible work hours and 30%-50% travel required for project needs.

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of wireless technologies (GSM, LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS) and network configurations
• Experience with Carrier Field testing (TMobile, VZW DFIT, AT&T Field Test, or OEM tests)
• Knowledge of Android platform testing and telecom fundamentals
• Proficiency in 5G, LTE, HSPA+/WCDMA signaling, PHY/MAC, and call processing
• Familiar with tools like Shannon DM, QXDM, QPST, XCAL, XCAP
• Transport Layer protocols (TCP/UDP) and Wireshark
• Proficient in MS Office for reporting
• Familiar with scripting (e.g., ADB shell) and network protocols

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of TCP/UDP, OSI Model, and IP Packet analysis
• Experience with QA methodologies, data mining, and cloud-based management tools
