Job Summary
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various engineering projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, and contractors, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with all relevant regulations and standards.
This is an on-site position in Frederick, MD offering hybrid work flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Perform calculations to ensure structurally safe projects involving steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures.
- Provide professional consultations on repairs, designs, and construction.
- Participate in project meetings and take an active role in helping design team resolve concerns and solve problems.
- Perform construction administration, including reviewing submittals, responding to contractor requests for information (RFIs), and performing site visits to the construction site as needed to help resolve construction issues.
- Assist in analyzing the critical path schedule for design and construction projects.
- Prepare, review, and approve project documents including building and systems designs, estimates, specifications, bid packages, technical and engineering correspondence, and reports.
- Performs engineering and project management work to protect life, safety, health, and property.

- Experience with both AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with ENERCALC, ForteWEB, and Risa
