Job Overview - Financial Reporting Manager
Join our client in Wilmington, DE, as a Senior Accountant. This hybrid role involves overseeing financial reporting for regulatory compliance, assisting with M&A processes, and ensuring all filings and records align with internal standards and external regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP.
Compensation: $140,000 - $150,000/year + bonus
Location: Chester County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Financial Reporting Manager:
- SEC Filings: Prepare and assist with SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and other required filings.
- Collaboration: Work with Accounting, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Communications, and Investor Relations on quarterly earnings materials.
- Benefit Statements: Oversee the preparation and review of benefit plan financial statements.
- Compliance: Stay updated on SEC rules, regulations, and accounting standards, including ESG reporting.
- M&A Activity: Support ongoing Merger & Acquisition activities.
- Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with auditors and maintain SEC reporting calendars.
Qualifications for the Financial Reporting Manager:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 7+ years of Accounting/Finance experience, including 2+ years in a Management role.
- Certification: CPA required.
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with SEC reporting, GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Workiva WDesk a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
