Must-Have:
- General ED nursing skills including Assessment, Documentation, IV, Phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, Point of Care Testing, Splinting, Critical Thinking, and Patient Education.
Job Description:
- Work in a 65-Bed Emergency Department with a pod-based structure, including separate pediatric and acute mental health areas.
- Maintain a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
- Handle a diverse patient population with an average census of 230 visits per day.
- Utilize EPIC ASAP for electronic medical records and charting.
- Participate in floating as required.
- Rotating shifts may be required for Day Rotate positions (7a-7p, 11a-11p, & 7p-7a) though rotation frequency is low. Note: The night position does not rotate.
