Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar critical care setting
License: Registered Nurse License
Certifications:
Must-Have:
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms
- Experience with titratable drips
- Understanding of hemodynamics
- Experience with respiratory patients: ventilators, BiPAP, tracheostomies, Airvo
- Experience with open-heart surgery recovery
- Experience with ECMO, Impella, balloon pumps
- Experience with CRRT/SLED
Job Description:
- Critical care role in a CVICU setting.
- Responsible for patient care in an 8-bed unit.
- Collaborate with a team of 25 staff members including charge nurses and RNs.
- Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1.
- Utilize GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Centrimag ECMO Circuits, Impella CP & 5.5, Prismax CRRT machines, Tablo SLED machines, and Maquet Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps.
- Document in Meditech EMR system.
- Perform typical unit procedures such as central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubations.
- Adhere to a navy scrub dress code.
- Exhibit a team player mentality with a positive, adaptable attitude.
- Work includes weekend shifts based on the schedule.
