ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Unit
A leading healthcare facility in Florida is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our award-winning critical care team. As a vital member of our intensive care unit, you'll provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative, supportive environment equipped with the latest medical technology.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing services to high-acuity patients
• Perform complex clinical assessments and implement appropriate interventions
• Serve as primary patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy and confidentiality
• Coordinate care plans with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide detailed patient/family education regarding medications and treatments
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions
• Document all care delivery according to hospital protocols
• Maintain continuous quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to obtain ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• NIHSS stroke certification (required within 30 days)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN degree
• Previous ICU experience
• CCRN certification (must obtain within 2 years)
