Plant Electrical Engineer (Power Distribution and Electrical Safety Leadership)
Full Time - Direct Hire - On Site Position
Relocation Available, eastern North Carolina 90 minutes to the beach
Salary $115k - $140k+ (based on experience)
We are seeking a results-driven Plant Electrical Engineer to lead initiatives in power distribution, electrical safety, and plant reliability. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to optimize a manufacturing site with both modern and legacy (1950s-era) electrical infrastructure. Your leadership will directly impact operational efficiency, safety standards, and infrastructure reliability.

Qualifications for Success - Essential Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering - BSEE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plant manufacturing environments
- Proficient in analyzing and troubleshooting power distribution systems using schematics, logic diagrams, and P&I diagrams.
- Knowledgeable with Arc Flash - with power distribution systems , including medium- and high-voltage equipment , switchgear , and motor control centers .
- Expertise in sizing electrical installations and specifying equipment for site upgrades.
Plus Ideal Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to lead electrical safety initiatives and perform safely in industrial environments.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, single loop controllers, and process interlocks.
- Familiarity with electrical standards, NEC, NFPA codes, and Process Safety Management (PSM) procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical teams.
