firstPRO is now accepting resumes for a Electrical Engineer role in Billerica, MA. This is a 12+ month contract and onsite.
- Define and develop Test Solutions, provide technical support to Operations and Engineering relating to product development, process development, and test design
- Contributes to the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems.
- Requires a bachelor's degree of Electrical Engineering.
- Works directly with more senior engineers to develop new designs and solutions.
- In addition, Electrical Engineer typically reports to supervisor or manager. Being an Electrical Engineer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
- Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Working as an Electrical Engineer typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
- Requirement:
- MSEE, BSEE or equivalent. 7 to 10 years of related experience in developing and implementing test plans for new products.
- Ability to determine test criteria from the product specification sheets, schematics, and other engineering information.
- Ability to draft schematics, assembly drawings, and printed circuit boards for test fixtures.
- Must have ability to write in advanced software languages. Must be proficient in the use of new test equipment, i.e. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, frequency counter, DB meters.
- Must be proficient in test system software – NI LabVIEW and Corelis JTag.
- Must be familiar with schematic entry tools, such as PADS Logic
